Static HTML is now Thunderpenny on Facebook

I think I've done a how-to blog like this before, but I'm doing it again, because there have been a few changes to the look and feel of Static HTML that is now Thunderpenny on Facebook.

Search for Thunderpenny on Facebook.

Add it to one of the Facebook Fan Pages for which you are an admin.

Then click "Use this app" in the HTML box

Then highlight all of the words that are already in the field.

After you highlight all the words in that box, replace them with the code you grabbed from "My Places" in Google Maps.

After you get the words replaced with code provided by Google Maps, click "save & publish"

Then Click "done"

Now you can see the map that you created in My Places in Google Maps is in the Custom Tab on your Facebook fan page thanks to Thunderpenny

You might want to type some words in the box before the map. In which case you would just put your cursor before the code from Google Maps, hit enter a couple of times, then move the cursor to the top, so you have some space between what you're typing and the Google Map code.

Then type in whatever words you want.

You can try typing <big> at the beginning of whatever you type, and at the end of whatever you type, to make the text larger. If you want to get even larger, just type <big><big> at the beginning of what you type, and the end of what you type.

Here are a couple of links that might help you build a My Places Map in Google Maps, get the code from Google Maps. Then you can paste it into Thunderpenny as I've shown you here.

This Youtube Video will teach you about My Places Maps in Google Maps

This Youtube Video will teach you about Google Docs Spreadsheets Forms. You can use Google Docs Spreadsheets forms to create a "Contact Us" tab, a "Sign Up" tab, a "What size shirt?" tab, a Where do I mail it?" tab, etc.  any tab where  you want to collect some data, ask a couple questions, and have answers organized into a spreadsheet.

Thank you! I hope this helps!
