Tabs on Facebook Fan Pages

Tabs on Facebook fan pages can be very helpful. We can use a lot of the stuff we've already learned with Google Docs, and embed codes.

First go to facebook.com sign in, and type "static html" in the facebook search bar.
Click on the "Static HTML: iframe tabs" App with the white star in the grey background.

next click the big blue button.

next select one of the fan pages you've created.

next click the big blue button

next you will see you have the white star in the grey background as a tab on your fan page.

next click the little downward pointing arrow next to the white star on the grey background.

next click the little pencil looking thing that appears over the white star on the grey background when you hover your mouse over it.

next click "Edit Settings"

next type a name, and you can select an image. Click "Change" next to "Custom Tab Image:"

next click "Change" next to "Image:"

next click "Choose File"

next choose an image, I chose one called "sign up" form my collections.

next you can see the image.

next click the X to close the tab. I know it sounds crazy, but trust me.

next click "Save" on your tab name, and "Okay".

next you can see you have "Sign Up" (if you used a picture like mine) instead of the white star on the Grey background.

If you click the "Sign Up" button, or other similar button, depending on what picture you used.
You will see this screen:

next If you use Google Docs Spreadsheets embed form code, you can make it look all pretty if you use all of the features on Google Docs Spreadsheets Embed Forms.

Here is the "Sign Up" picture if you just want to download it and use it.
