How to embed a sign up sheet

This should help people who want to learn how to embed a sign up sheet in a tab on their website.
This is pretty easily accomplished thanks to Google Docs Spreadsheets.

First go to Google Docs at docs.google.com

then create a spreadsheet.

When you get in the spreadsheet type label the columns, first name, last name, email, phone, street, city, zip.

Then click Tools and Create Form.

Then click "More actions" and "Embed".

Then copy the embed code right click copy or highlight what you want and push "ctrl" + "v"

Then go to your blog. In this case it is Blogspot so go to blogger.com

Click on the little arrow to the left of the "View blog" button

Go down and click "Pages"

Then click the arrow next to "New Page" go down and click "Blank page"

Type a message when you are in Compose mode. Then click the "HTML" button

When you are in HTML mode paste the code from the Google Doc Spreadsheet
Hold down "ctrl" and push "v" or right click paste
Then click publish. You will have the option of sharing to Google Plus.

You will be taken to this page at which point you can click "View"

Now you can see you have the Home Page tab and the Sign Up Sheet tab and people can put their information in the fields.

You are going to want to make sure you get an email every time a new person signs up for your page.
Go back to the Google Doc Spreadsheet and click "Tools" and "Notification Rules"

Make sure you check the box that says "Any changes are made"
and "Email - right away"

This should help you get an embedded sign up form from a Google Docs Spreadsheet.
